Deep within Woronora’s grounds, Tranquil Gardens is a moving memorial within a naturally inspired setting.

Gymea lilies, sacred to the local Aboriginal community, stretch their massive, flame-red flowers skywards, while rosemary bushes offer a traditional symbol of remembrance. A gentle water feature sits nearby.

This private place is home to our symbolic Doorway of Hope. A memorial unlike any in Australia, it provides a place to honour those who have gone missing, most probably deceased without any recognition of passing. As in many cases a death certificate has never been issued.
